Wimberly Manor is a 73-unit, mixed-income community for Adults 62+ in Winder, Georgia. As KCG’s second community in Winder, Wimberly Manor is a partnership with the Winder Housing Authority (WHA), and pairs KCG’s sustainable senior housing options with the WHA’s vast array of programs and services. This partnership benefits from the property’s directly proximity to the Wimberly Center for Community Development – an award-winning social services center run by WHA that hosts dozens of civic organizations, a community garden, commercial test kitchen and much more.
On site, residents have access to a host of supportive services and activities, including routine preventative health care screenings provided by the Barrow County Health Department, healthy eating and wellness programs, a community garden, and on-call transportation. Select activities are coordinated with the local Boys & Girls Club.
