Todd Jensen

With over 13 years of experience in the affordable housing industry, Todd serves as KCG’s Vice President of Development – Midwest and leads our development efforts in Indiana, Ohio and Wisconsin.

Prior to joining KCG, he was responsible for AHEPA Management Company’s (AMC) entry into Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) development, focusing on the creation of its affordable assisted living facility (AALF) portfolio. Under Todd’s leadership, AMC developed four AALFs in the state of Indiana – Indianapolis, New Albany, Elkhart and Mishawaka. While at AMC, he oversaw all aspects of its LIHTC program, including: site selection, site control, entitlements, project underwriting, tax-exempt bond application submissions, due diligence for loan & LIHTC closings, construction oversight through the receipt of Certificates of Occupancy, oversight of lease-up to meet Qualified Occupancy requirements, and the cost certification process through the receipt of Form 8609. He also served as the company contact for investor limited partner relations and was responsible for asset management oversight.

Todd began his career in the affordable housing industry as a Development Associate for RealAmerica Development in Carmel, IN. During his three-year stint with RealAmerica, he was responsible for the submission of four, competitive, 9% LIHTC applications – all of which received LIHTC awards.

Todd earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from Purdue University and received his Master of Business Administration from Butler University. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing and following his favorite sports teams.
