Executive Vice President of KCG Construction

Darren serves as Executive Vice President of KCG Construction, overseeing construction strategy, field execution, and operations across KCG’s national portfolio. In this role, he leads teams from preconstruction through closeout, driving schedule, budget, and quality performance. Darren plays a key role in scaling KCG’s platform through streamlined processes, vendor coordination, and team development.
Darren brings more than a decade of leadership experience, having spent nearly 13 years at The Sterling Group in roles including Project Engineer, Procurement Manager, and Vice President of Construction. He managed procurement, scheduling, and delivery of multifamily projects while developing standards that improved project execution and team performance. In his more senior roles, Darren led large-scale developments and collaborated with internal stakeholders to align construction goals with development objectives. Darren began his career at Messer Construction Co. as a Project Engineer, supporting planning and field operations for commercial projects.
