Anna Folwell

Anna Folwell is the Director of Brand Strategy for KCG Companies. This role encompasses developing and managing brand strategies for KCG and its residential communities, tailoring each strategy to reflect both the central business and the unique cultures of each community and its development initiatives. She supports various company functions, including Development, Residential Services, Design, Finance, Construction, and the Executive Team, ensuring alignment with overall goals. Anna was previously part of KCG Development’s team supporting new developments in Iowa, Maryland, South Carolina, Ohio, and Wisconsin.

Committed to working in areas of impact and building intentional communities, Anna consulted for clients in Education, Real Estate, and Start-Up sectors prior to joining KCG. Previously, Anna worked for Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity (LIONS), the benchmark for the global creative industry. She managed sponsorship and branded partnerships for the Festival’s North American business partners. Prior to LIONS, she worked across various divisions of FOX Sports across their US Headquarters’ locations in Los Angeles, and New York City. She has worked in production roles for numerous studios and production companies, as well as on programs including “The Bachelorette,” “The X Factor,” and the “Lifetime Achievement Awards.”

Anna’s 10+ years’ experience in creative industries brings expertise in branded partnerships, strategy, project management, events planning, marketing, production and community outreach initiatives. She received her Bachelor’s degree from UNC Chapel Hill in Media & Journalism, and a second degree in Communication Studies for Media Production. Currently, she serves on the PBS North Carolina Foundation Board of Directors, on the Executive Committee, Secretary Officer, and as Chair of the Board Enrichment Committee. She was an active Board of Trustees member for seven years and Chair of the Governance Committee for University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She served as the founding Chairwoman of the Board of Directors for the Dorill Initiative, a youth arts’ education 501c3 organization based in New York City. She is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of North Carolina.
